Fall has begun

TETON VALLEY AMATEUR GOLF TOURNAMENT

INAUGURAL EVENT WELCOMES REGIONAL GOLFERS

The Headwaters Club at Teton Springs hosted the 1st Annual Teton Valley Amateur Golf Tournament this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The tournament welcomed over 100 players from the inter-mountain west with 6 men’s flights and 1 woman’s. Saturday’s round started off with harsh winds and brief delays from thunderstorms that made for an interesting day and challenging for the competitors. Sunday brought better weather and sunshine for a much milder round of golf, resulting in more competitive competition and lower scores at the end of the day.

1st Annual Teton Valley Champion – Mark Dance from Idaho Falls, ID with a 36 hole gross score of: 141
Runner-up – Jeremy Hopple from Jackson Hole, WY with a 36 hole gross score of: 155

1st Annual Women's Teton Valley Champion - Beth Nolan-Vontz from Driggs, ID with a 36 hole gross score of: 179

The Headwaters Club wants to thank all those that participated and look forward to continuing the Teton Valley Amateur Golf Tournament for years to come.

Locals Appreciation!

The Headwaters Club has teamed up with the Teton Springs Lodge and Spa to create a locals special not to be missed. If you are a local of Teton Valley, you are invited to play golf at our Private Course for only $50. The Teton Springs Lodge has joined in and offered a night stay for only $89 per person to make it a perfect weekend getaway. This special also includes dinner at the Headwaters Grille and complimentary breakfast at the on-site Sage Gourmet. The Stillwaters Spa is offering a massage for $60, normally a $110 value as well as 20% off your next treatment!

Members Closing Social

The Headwaters Club at Teton Springs threw their end of the year bash on Saturday, September 13th. This is a get together thrown every year that says goodbye to all those that travel for the winter and also creates a closure to another great summer season. Although it can be thought of as a sad time it really did represent the spirit of our Club; with speeches, gag gifts, and awards, there was absolutely no shortage of fun!

Leon Vest Invitational

On Wednesday, September 10th, The Teton Springs Foundation Hosted it's Annual Leon Vest Invitational (LVI). It was a great success and proceeds went directly to the Teton Springs Foundation for their next grant cycle.

The Teton Springs Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been granting money to other non-profits in Teton Valley since 2001. They have donated over $450,000 and are continually looking for more ways to contribute to the community.

Susan G. Komen Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament

On August 19th, Teton Springs Resort and the Headwaters Club hosted it's Second Annual Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament. This was the largest golf tournament held at The Headwaters Club and was a huge success in the fight against Breast Cancer. We were able to keep the money locally and donate a large portion of the profits to Teton Valley Hospital.
