Teton Valley Amateur Winners

Last weekend The Headwaters Club at Teton Springs held the 2nd Annual Teton Valley Amateur. The weather cooperated and we had a beautiful tournament with some close competition. Congratulations to the winners listed below, and keep us on your calendar for September 2010!

Great weekend with another to come!

Teton Springs and the Headwaters Club had a busy weekend despite the winding down of the summer season. With almost a full house in The Teton Springs Lodge and Spa, the Members Closing Social and multiple golf tournaments, we really had our hands full! Unfortunately I (Casey) was unable to attend these events as I was in California, so I don't have any fun pictures for you all to see!

There will definitely be pictures of this weekend however, as we host the second annual Teton Valley Amateur! The tournament starts tomorrow, September 18th, with a practice round and continues to the tournament rounds on the 19th and 20th. This event brings in amateurs from all over the surrounding areas and is such a great event that we are proud to host every year!

Casting 4 a Cure a Huge Success!

We want to thank all those that attended the Casting 4 a Cure event last Friday! With over 100 people walking through the door, raffle tickets and drinks, we were able to make a significant amount of money for the International Rett Syndrome Foundation! There were great prizes, and the music was amazing! Equal Eyes played all night, and coming just from Boise, hopefully we will see them again soon.

The main event of the weekend, however, wasn't the friday night party, it was the fishing tournament that brought the event to our backyard. WorldCast Anglers was a huge sponsor that brought in all of their guides and all of there boats for this tournament. With 18 teams they caught some amazing fish and had a blast.Check out http://www.flyfishingfrenzy.com/2009/09/04/casting-4-a-cure-2/ for a run down of one team's experience.

A big thank to Bill Farnum and Jim Copeland for putting together this event and all the sponsors that helped make it happen! Every bit counts, and hopefully it will aide in helping the little girls that struggle with Rett Syndrome. Again, to find out more, visit http://www.casting4acure.com.

If you were unable to attend this year, look for Casting 4 a Cure next year right here in Teton Valley and Teton Springs Resort!
